Giddings is Rich in Partnerships & Resources

Giddings may be small in stature, but we are large in partnerships and resources. We bring resources together to provide the support clients need to expand within the city. Locally, this often includes working with the Workforce Development Board, the Rural Capital Area Council of Government, and the Small Business Development Center. At the state level, the Texas Department of Agriculture, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and Tourism also have programs that can assist businesses locating within Giddings. We have contacts at the federal level too.

Navigating through these programs, resources and incentives takes time that many businesses don’t have. That’s where GEDC comes in. We serve as a liaison to these organizations, helping businesses to obtain the support they need to grow and thrive.
