Giddings Area Tourism Council News
The Giddings Area Tourism Council is actively working on some great projects to promote tourism and business retention to the Giddings area.
Anyone and everyone who is interested in the good of the community and having fun at the same time is invited to attend these meetings. They are held at the Union Station Transportation Museum in Giddings, bi-monthly on the 4th Tuesday at lunch. Active members include representatives from Dime Box, Lexington, Serbin and Giddings. - Historic Downtown Walking Tour Guide
- Networking with Tourism Partners on local, Regional, State and National level
- Hosting bus tours and motor coach groups
- Developing marketing programs to promote the Giddings area

to support the preservation and renovation of our three historic railroad depots in downtown Giddings. The restored depot complex will serve as the site of the Rural Texas Tourism Center
