Giddings Area Tourism Council News

The Giddings Area Tourism Council is actively working on some great projects to promote tourism and business retention to the Giddings area.

Anyone and everyone who is interested in the good of the community and having fun at the same time is invited to attend these meetings. They are held at City Hall, 118 East Richmond Street in Giddings, 2nd Tuesday of every month at lunch. Active members include representatives from Dime Box, Lexington, Serbin and Giddings. • Giddings/Lee County Visitors Guide
• Historic Downtown Walking Tour Guide
• Development of Rural Texas Tourism Center
• Networking with Tourism Partners on local, Regional, State and National level
• Hosting bus tours
• Developing marketing programs to promote Giddings as a "HOT" visitor destination

to support the preservation and renovation of our three historic railroad depots in downtown Giddings. The restored depot complex will serve as the site of the Rural Texas Tourism Center
