Board Members

The Giddings Economic Development Board is made up of seven directors, each of whom shall be appointed by the City Council. Each of the directors shall be a resident of the City. At least three directors shall be persons who are not employees, officers of the City, or members of the City Council.

The City Council shall appoint the Directors of the Corporation in accordance with teh Texas Development Act of 1979, as amended.

The City Council shall consider an individual's experience, accomplishments, and educational background in appointing members to the Board to ensure that the interests and concerns of all segments of the community are considered.
